The Veterinary Technician is an onsite, full-time role based in Austin, TX. The pay range is $18.00 to $22.00 per hour. This role supports the clinical team at Paz Veterinary. This position exists to provide exceptional care to patients and outstanding support to doctors, using a Fear Free approach to ensure a positive experience for pets and their owners.

What you'll do

• Assist veterinarians during exams, diagnostics, and procedures.
• Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, radiographs, lab work, and anesthesia monitoring.
• Provide compassionate patient care using Fear Free handling techniques.
• Educate clients on medications, treatment plans, and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
• Support a clean, organized, and efficient hospital environment.
