Class A Truck Driver

The Class A Truck Driver role is onsite in Tucker, GA, with a Monday–Friday schedule. Pay is $31.60 per hour. Emerald Transformer provides transformer services, including repairs, field technical services, decommissioning, and recycling. The driver transports materials and equipment safely and reliably to support company operations and customer requirements. The role plans routes, maintains required shipping and Department of Transportation documentation, inspects vehicles and equipment, assists with loading and unloading, and communicates with customers and internal teams.

What you'll do

• Plan and coordinate delivery routes
• support safe shipment preparation
• complete shipping and delivery documentation
• maintain DOT records
• operate vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and safety policies
• inspect vehicles and equipment and report defects
• operate pallet jacks, overhead cranes, and other material-handling equipment
• assist with loading and unloading
• meet customer delivery windows
• coordinate with Sales and internal teams.
