What you'll do

• Inspect bridges and ancillary structures, including topside and underwater inspections
• develop and review inspection reports
• complete report writing, review, and data entry
• assist with training assistant inspectors as needed
• travel to bridges throughout Florida and possibly elsewhere in the United States.

Why this role

Requires at least five years of bridge and/or ancillary inspection experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and FHWA/NHI 130055 completion. Out-of-state travel and overnight stays may be required; several additional bridge inspection courses and dive training are preferred.
