Senior Software Engineer — Full Stack

The Senior Software Engineer — Full Stack role is onsite in Seattle, WA. The annual base salary range is $150,000–$170,000. RareCyte develops precision biology technology and products in spatial biology and liquid biopsy. The engineer builds a web platform for operating scans and managing and analyzing image data. The role contributes across client applications, Django services, distributed image processing, and a high-performance browser viewer, taking features from design through deployment in collaboration with scientists, engineers, and product stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Build client-side applications for instrument control, image viewing, asynchronous processing, and data management
• own features from design through deployment
• clarify evolving requirements with cross-functional stakeholders
• share knowledge and help evaluate technologies. Work with the stated stack, including Vue, Python/Django, Django REST Framework, Celery, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, Linux, and Azure CI/CD.
