The CNC Operator – 2nd Shift role is an onsite, full-time position in Brookfield, WI, scheduled Monday–Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. Compensation is $23–$32 per hour. Trace-A-Matic manufactures complex precision-machined components and states its mission is to exceed customer expectations. The operator runs and helps set up machine tools to produce components that meet print specifications. The role supports production quality and throughput by following setup instructions, checking parts, and operating multiple machines within a production cell.

What you'll do

• Operate machine tools and adjust offsets to meet print specifications
• perform repetitive machining tasks to quality standards
• read basic blueprints and follow inspection and documentation requirements
• assist with machine setup under experienced machinists’ guidance
• apply machining and control-function knowledge
• run multiple machines in a production cell
• use GD&T knowledge
• and mentor and train operators on repetitive machining tasks.
