What you'll do

• Prepare food according to menu requirements and designated recipes
• plate and garnish food for residents and guests
• coordinate production with meal service hours to preserve food quality, temperature, and appearance
• monitor food temperatures and use proper storage techniques
• maintain a safe and sanitary kitchen work area, including cleaning equipment as assigned.

Why this role

One year of prep-cook or similar experience and a high school diploma or equivalent are required. State food-handling and sanitation certification is required if a state certification program exists.
