What you'll do

• Perform setup-related duties and troubleshoot production problems involving equipment, tooling, and processes
• set up equipment to standard work
• perform duties of a JLG Level 4 or higher operator for a specific department
• train and educate operators
• assist with development plans and competency progress plans
• identify process improvements
• serve as a technical and mechanical machining resource
• work toward setup targets
• facilitate shift start-up and department meetings
• assist with new processes and standard work
• perform and train others in preventive maintenance
• complete maintenance management records
• identify and correct machining and mechanical equipment problems.
