SAP Functional Consultant

Job overview

The SAP Functional Consultant works in person in the San Francisco Bay Area, with customer travel required. Compensation is $175,000–$300,000 per year. FlowGen Labs builds enterprise AI agents for customized SAP environments and finance and operations workflows. The consultant works with customers to understand business processes and translate workflows, exceptions, approvals, and controls into requirements that AI agents can execute safely and reliably. The role partners with engineering and AI teams on workflow design, validation, deployment planning, and customer outcomes.

What you'll do

• Partner with customers to understand SAP-driven finance and operations workflows.
• Analyze processes including order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, record-to-report, disputes, cash application, logistics, and close.
• Translate processes, exceptions, approvals, and controls into agent requirements.
• Work with engineering and AI teams to define workflows, validations, escalation paths, and success criteria.
• Support workshops, discovery, process mapping, and deployment planning.
• Identify automation opportunities and validate agent outputs against business rules, SAP data, and operating procedures.

Why this role
