What you'll do

• Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment
• listen for unusual sounds and discuss operating variations to diagnose problems
• dismantle defective equipment and install new or repaired parts
• clean and lubricate machinery components
• schedule maintenance and coordinate repairs to avoid hindering production timelines
• install and repair electrical apparatus and machinery components
• assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
• repair and maintain the plant’s physical structure
• may perform temporary non-maintenance duties.
