Job overview

The Material Handler — Steel Production role is onsite in Toledo, OH. Base pay is $18.00 per hour, based on experience; second shift adds $0.50 per hour and third shift adds $1.00 per hour. The role supports Precision Steel Services’ production and shipping flow. The material handler moves, stages, organizes, and packages steel and orders so production and shipping can proceed on schedule. Accurate counts, labels, paperwork, safe equipment operation, and clear communication help keep material ready for the next operation and customer orders prepared correctly.

What you'll do

• Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment
• load and unload trucks
• verify material and order requirements
• stage material for production, storage, or shipping
• package, label, and secure customer orders
• count pieces and complete basic paperwork
• store supplies appropriately
• maintain clean and safe work areas
• communicate shortages, delays, damage, and safety concerns.
