Adult Advocate

The role also coordinates with internal programs and outside organizations and maintains case documentation and follow-up.

What you'll do

• Provide individual and group counseling, which may include weekly support groups
• develop and monitor service plans with clients
• provide employment counseling and job-placement referrals
• connect clients with education, training, and community resources
• provide legal advocacy and emotional support in court
• assist with Orders of Protection
• provide crisis intervention
• coordinate with outside agencies
• conduct community presentations and trainings
• complete intake, screening, case documentation, and follow-up.
