The Heavy Civil Project Manager role is onsite in Piedmont, AL, with project-site visits and work across construction sites. The role also manages field operations, documentation, risks, and client and agency communication throughout the project lifecycle.

What you'll do

• Oversee planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution of heavy civil and commercial projects
• lead internal and external teams
• serve as a primary contact for clients, architects, engineers, and agencies
• conduct site visits and project meetings
• manage grading, utilities, paving, concrete, drainage, erosion control, traffic control, and striping scopes
• coordinate inspections and permits
• manage budgets, forecasts, quantity takeoffs, cost analysis, schedules, contracts, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and closeout documentation
• identify and mitigate risks
• mentor junior team members.
