Speech Therapist in Roanoke, VA. This is a part-time, onsite position. The pay range is $40.00 - $49.00 per hour. Powerback Rehabilitation is a leader in physical, occupational, speech, and respiratory therapies, helping older adults and children. This role exists to help patients regain their ability to communicate, swallow, and overcome speech and communication disorders. The Speech Therapist designs and executes personalized therapy plans to restore, reinforce, and enhance these abilities, promoting patient independence and productivity.

What you'll do

• Help patients communicate, swallow, and diminish or remediate disorders or deficits.
• Take responsibility for the effective and efficient delivery of rehab services.
• Design and execute therapy plans.
• Address the whole patient and individual needs.
• Restore, reinforce, and enhance speech and communication abilities.
• Adapt to patient needs and settings.
• Collaborate with peers and make referrals.
• Train patients and caregivers on necessary skills.

What we're looking for

Education

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly-titled area.

Experience

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent. Licensed, certified or credentialed as required in the state of practice.
