Transport Driver

The Transport Driver role is onsite in Racine, WI. Compensation is $15 per hour. Racine County Opportunity Center serves children, including children with special needs, and is expanding transportation for its adult unit’s community outings and job-site trips. The driver transports children and adults with special needs safely and reliably. The role supports the center’s transportation program through required checks, arrival and departure logs, vehicle maintenance communication, and compliance with transportation policies and road rules.

What you'll do

• Transport children to and from school
• transport adults with special needs between home settings, community outings, and job sites
• follow road rules and childcare transportation policies
• conduct child checks and counts and log arrivals and departures
• communicate van maintenance needs and follow DCF inspections.
