The Material Handling Equipment Technician II role is onsite in Nashville, TN. Compensation is up to $24 per hour, based on experience. The position supports Sysco Nashville operations by assisting a Material Handling Equipment Technician III with equipment and industrial battery maintenance. The role exists to keep material handling equipment, batteries, and related work areas safe and operational. Preventive maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and accurate maintenance records support distribution center operations and facility safety.

What you'll do

• Assist with maintenance of material handling equipment and industrial batteries
• perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot electrical controls
• complete small electrical repairs and welding projects as needed
• assist with battery charger repairs, battery changes, and battery-area upkeep
• log work orders and preventive maintenance in CMMS
• maintain tools and work areas
• follow safety requirements and respond to emergencies
• participate in the designated departmental on-call program.
