What you'll do

• Assist the facility dietitian with recommended changes
• serve meals using portion-control procedures
• set up meal trays, carts, and dining areas
• assist the cook with meal and special-meal preparation
• distribute and collect menus
• check diet trays after distribution
• deliver food carts and trays
• prepare and deliver snacks
• wash utensils and clean work areas and food storage areas
• follow infection-control and universal-precautions procedures
• report hazards and accidents.
