Preschool Lead Teacher, New Center Opening

The Preschool Lead Teacher works onsite in Frederick, MD. Compensation is $17–$19 per hour, with a full-time Monday–Friday schedule. The role joins the founding team of The Learning Experience's new Lake Linganore center. The teacher leads a preschool classroom focused on kindergarten readiness and whole-child development. Through developmentally appropriate lessons, family communication, and collaboration with assistant teachers, the role supports children's learning and a consistent classroom experience.

What you'll do

• Lead a preschool classroom focused on kindergarten readiness and whole-child development
• implement lessons using the L.E.A.P. Curriculum
• foster language, literacy, math, science, and social-emotional growth through hands-on learning
• maintain a structured, safe, welcoming classroom
• mentor and collaborate with assistant teachers
• communicate with families and provide developmental updates
• comply with Maryland Office of Child Care licensing and health and safety standards.
