The Technical Product Manager, Agentic AI Portfolio role is onsite in Washington, DC, with annual compensation of $190,000–$330,000. Shield AI’s mission is to protect service members and civilians with intelligent systems, and this role supports the Office of the CTO’s Special Projects team. The role defines product direction and operating measures for internal AI platforms, translating CTO strategy into requirements and milestones while driving adoption and coordinating product discovery. It also shapes model-based autonomy and model lifecycle tooling and helps transition maturing products to owning organizations.

What you'll do

• Own product definition, roadmap, and metrics for the Office of the CTO’s agentic AI portfolio
• translate CTO strategy into requirements, milestones, exit criteria, and KPIs
• drive internal platform adoption and developer advocacy
• shape foundation-model autonomy and model lifecycle tooling
• conduct discovery with engineers, operators, and executives
• prioritize initiatives
• assess the AI ecosystem and recommend build, buy, or partner approaches
• author strategy documents and executive updates
• manage product transitions from incubation to owning organizations.
