Property Maintenance Technician — Residential Properties

Job overview

The Property Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Duluth, MN, and surrounding areas, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Compensation is $26–$28 per hour. The position maintains AHL Healthcare Group’s group homes, assisted living facilities, and residential and commercial rental properties. The technician handles routine property upkeep, repairs, and larger projects so the organization’s homes and facilities remain functional and safe for residents and occupants. The work includes responding to emergency maintenance needs and coordinating repairs across properties.

What you'll do

• Complete routine and scheduled maintenance
• repair and install light fixtures, ceiling fans, plumbing fixtures, and household appliances
• diagnose and repair heating, electrical, and water systems
• replace doors and windows
• repair or replace flooring
• maintain property exteriors
• repair, replace, and build decks, stairs, and fences
• respond to emergency issues
• review and prioritize maintenance requests
• document safety concerns and inspections
• follow safety procedures.
