Materials Supervisor

The Materials Supervisor role is onsite in Clyde, OH; compensation is not specified. The position leads the Materials department in a manufacturing and warehouse environment, supporting production schedules, customer requirements, and company goals for safety, quality, delivery, and cost. The role exists to coordinate people, inventory, shipping and receiving, and material flow so production has the right materials in the right quantities and locations at the right time. It also works with Production, Quality, Purchasing, Maintenance, Logistics, and Supply Chain to resolve issues and improve processes.

What you'll do

• Supervise daily Materials team activities, including warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, inventory control, and production material flow
• maintain accurate inventory transactions and support cycle counts and audits
• train and coach staff
• promote safe equipment operation and material handling
• monitor department performance and support Lean, 5S, Kaizen, and other continuous-improvement work.
