Registered Nurse (RN) Director of Education

The Registered Nurse (RN) Director of Education role is onsite in East Aurora, NY, in the Education / Nursing department. Compensation is $40–$45 per hour. The role supports nursing and clinical staff education at Absolut Care of Aurora Park, including its Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program. The director develops and evaluates staff education, provides orientation and ongoing training, and coordinates CNA instruction and exam preparation. By monitoring competencies and aligning education with facility and regulatory requirements, the role supports staff development and quality improvement.

What you'll do

• Develop, coordinate, and maintain nursing education and staff development programs
• provide orientation and onboarding
• assess educational needs and deliver in-service education
• teach and coordinate CNA classes, including classroom and clinical skills instruction
• prepare students for New York State Prometric CNA examinations
• maintain training, attendance, competency, and education records
• monitor competencies and coordinate annual evaluations
• develop corrective education when needed
• collaborate with nursing and facility leadership
• support quality improvement and survey preparation
• maintain knowledge of applicable nursing and long-term care requirements.
