The Medical Assistant, Mobile Dermatology role is onsite in Bradenton, FL, with pay of $18–$25 per hour. OnSpot Dermatology brings dermatology services, including screenings, biopsies, and Mohs surgery, to local communities and businesses through mobile clinics and offices. The assistant supports dermatology providers and patient care by preparing patients, documenting visits, assisting with procedures, processing specimens, and coordinating follow-up. This work contributes to patient experience and the practice’s efforts to detect and treat skin cancer early.

What you'll do

• Welcome patients, take medical histories, and prepare them for exams
• scribe for providers and update electronic medical records
• assist with Mohs procedures, excisions, and minor surgeries
• label, process, and prepare specimens
• schedule follow-up appointments and coordinate care
• support additional testing and procedures
• help patients feel comfortable and informed
• occasionally take on duties outside standard medical assistant tasks to support team operations.

Why this role
