Security Captain

Job overview

The Security Captain role is onsite in Fairfax, VA, with stated pay of $32.80 per hour. Securitas provides security services to help safeguard clients’ people and assets. The Captain oversees security personnel at one or more client sites to support safe, orderly operations. The role coordinates staff training and coverage, checks that post orders and rounds are followed, and ensures reports and emergency notifications are handled appropriately.

What you'll do

• Oversee security officers and other personnel
• ensure post orders are followed, rounds completed, reports filed, and emergency notifications made
• coach and discipline staff
• train employees and review assignments
• assist with payroll and personnel management
• coordinate post coverage
• meet with client representatives
• inspect posts
• and make hiring or termination recommendations as assigned.
