Senior Contracts & Claims Manager — Capital Projects

The Senior Contracts & Claims Manager — Capital Projects role is onsite in Bend, OR. Compensation is not specified. As part of the Global Capital Sourcing team, the role manages commercial matters for large and medium greenfield or brownfield capital projects, with project spend of at least $5 million. The position protects client contractual rights, manages contractor obligations and claims, and supports value-for-money, cost control, quality, and on-time delivery. It coordinates with engineering, project, procurement, legal, finance, supplier, and other stakeholder teams to reduce contract risk and support growth investments.

What you'll do

• Support risk-mitigation plans and contracting strategies
• coordinate cost-control systems and analyze contract conditions
• review tenders and contracts and support major contract negotiations
• lead contract execution and manage contracting plans, variations, extensions, and change requests
• coordinate change orders, delay and conflict management, and documentation for potential litigation, arbitration, or alternative dispute resolution
• manage warranties and performance guarantees
• develop and negotiate outgoing and incoming claims
• maintain claim documentation
• manage supplier escalations, performance, compliance, and relationships
• coordinate internal and external stakeholders.
