What you'll do

• Perform scheduling, precertification, and benefit verification
• interview patients and guarantors for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency registration
• explain hospital policies and financial responsibilities
• obtain required signatures
• enter accurate demographic and financial data in EPIC
• obtain insurance authorization
• estimate patient financial responsibility
• coordinate scheduling with physicians and hospital departments.
