Case Manager — MLK Drop-In Center, Weekends is an onsite part-time role at a drop-in center in Long Beach, CA, serving Los Angeles County SPA 8. The case manager provides weekend coverage and helps maintain continuity of support when weekday staffing is limited. The role connects clients with treatment, housing, benefits, and other community resources while coordinating handoffs and updates with the weekday multidisciplinary team.

What you'll do

• Provide onsite case management to walk-in clients
• conduct intake assessments and develop service plans
• connect clients to mental health, substance use, housing, benefits, and primary care resources
• maintain case notes and records
• coordinate with weekday team members
• monitor progress
• respond to crises and coordinate interventions
• hand off urgent matters
• participate in meetings, training, and supervision.
