Construction Accounts Payable Manager

The Construction Accounts Payable Manager role is onsite in Prineville, OR. Compensation is $85,000–$100,000 per year. Hodge Western Corp builds specialty underground utility projects through its Horizontal Directional Drilling, Renewables, and Rock Trenching divisions. This hands-on manager oversees accounts payable accuracy, payment coordination, vendor matters, and internal controls. Working with the AP Specialist, finance team, and project teams, the role supports reliable financial operations and may grow into broader accounting responsibilities over time.

What you'll do

• Oversee daily accounts payable operations and support the AP Specialist
• review invoices for coding, job costing, approvals, and documentation
• review AP aging and prepare weekly payment recommendations
• coordinate and process approved payments
• manage vendor inquiries, credit applications, and discrepancies
• review corporate card coding and receipts and reconcile monthly statements
• maintain payment procedures and internal controls
• oversee annual 1099 reporting
• coordinate subcontractor and vendor billing, lien waivers, retention, and payment requirements
• support affiliated LLCs
• identify process improvements.
