What you'll do

• Organize patient activities and contact to encourage cognitive stimulation, socialization, and self-initiative
• train mental health staff to carry out activities when the recreational therapist is absent and fill in for program staff as needed. Plan community education events and therapeutic activities for groups, create weekly schedules that meet CMS guidelines, and support patient and staff safety.

Why this role
