What you'll do

• Carry out medical orders
• assess patient and family learning needs and provide education
• administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, hydration, growth factors, and other medications under physician direction
• monitor and communicate laboratory, imaging, and test results
• assess physical, psychosocial, educational, spiritual, and emotional needs
• perform venipunctures, vascular device care, and dressing changes
• conduct telephone triage
• document assessments, teaching, and medication administration
• support staff
• follow safety and infection-control standards
• provide clinic coverage as needed
• mentor and precept staff as needed.
