What you'll do

• Review guaranteed arrivals and verify credit cards
• ensure day-use rooms are listed for housekeeping
• explain promotional items and hotel amenities
• document new commercial customers
• follow up on blocked rooms with maintenance
• confirm rollaway beds and cribs
• respond to guest inquiries and complaints and offer alternatives when needed
• cover other hotel areas as needed
• document guest accidents and maintenance complaints
• keep the front desk clean and organized
• greet guests warmly.
