What you'll do

• Manage assigned suppliers and commodities
• issue and manage purchase orders
• obtain and evaluate supplier quotations
• pursue cost savings and process improvements
• maintain records, inventory, spreadsheets, and reports
• analyze purchased-material quality issues
• support new project procurement
• ensure on-time supplier delivery
• evaluate market conditions and recommend alternatives
• investigate new sources of supply
• comply with ethical and legal requirements.
