What you'll do

• Set up molding equipment and install tooling and dies in presses
• set up parts according to control plans
• perform first-piece inspections and prepare presses for operators
• work with engineering on process improvements and tooling changes
• handle and place product on designated skids or trays
• inspect parts for defects and stop equipment if nonconforming product is produced
• notify supervisors and complete hold tags and production reports
• maintain quality and a clean work area
• perform length and weight adjustments and read blueprints.
