What you'll do

• Plan, direct, and organize nursing activities for an assigned shift
• deliver and coordinate skilled patient care according to policies and procedures
• advocate for patients
• make and adjust patient-care assignments based on acuity and staff competencies
• communicate changes in patient condition and care concerns
• delegate tasks under applicable Texas rules
• support orientation and supervision of temporary and new staff when needed
• ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory requirements.
