What you'll do

• Serve as a team member or leader on recertification, comparative, complaint investigation, revisit, and other surveys
• prepare for and conduct onsite surveys of healthcare facilities
• observe care, review records, and interview staff and families
• assess compliance with federal requirements, quality of care, consumer rights, and physical plant standards
• communicate deficiencies
• evaluate plans of correction
• conduct follow-up and monitoring surveys
• assist with facility and bureau training and work groups.
