The Medical Assistant role is onsite and requires travel throughout Prescott, Yavapai County, and surrounding areas. The listing location is Prescott, AZ. Compensation is $20–$25 per hour. The Medical Assistant supports primary care and wellness services by assisting with in-home and in-clinic assessments, preventive testing, screenings, and patient coordination under a primary care provider’s direction, helping meet care quality measures across the assigned service area.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with the care team to support positive patient outcomes
• communicate with patients, families, and team members
• maintain HIPAA confidentiality
• travel with a primary care provider to assigned members' homes
• drive, set up, and clean the mobile primary care clinic
• perform phlebotomy and handle blood and bodily fluids safely
• conduct in-home preventive care testing and education
• perform safety checks and collect data
• perform CLIA-waived tests as directed
• schedule appointments, take messages, and provide results under provider direction
• perform EKGs, PFTs, eye exams, and other tests as ordered.

Why this role

Requires a high school diploma, Medical Assistant diploma, BLS certification, fingerprint clearance card, and unrestricted driver's license; registered, certified, or clinical Medical Assistant credentials are strongly preferred.
