The attorney advises clients on transactional tax matters and works with corporate attorneys and deal teams on complex business transactions. Drafting and negotiating transaction documents and communicating tax issues support clients’ corporate, investment, and financing matters.

What you'll do

• Advise clients on transactional tax matters in corporate and business transactions
• work with corporate practice and other groups
• advise on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, partnerships, LLCs, joint ventures, private equity, fund formation, real estate, venture capital, financing, and capital markets matters
• draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents and tax provisions
• manage substantial transaction components
• communicate tax issues to clients and deal teams.
