The Speech Language Pathologist - Pediatrics is an onsite, full-time role based in Duluth, MN. Compensation is provided at an hourly rate ranging from $34.96 to $52.44. This position is part of the Essentia Health rehabilitation team, which is dedicated to patient-centered care and clinical excellence. This role exists to evaluate, plan, treat, and implement care for pediatric patients in the areas of speech, language, cognition, and swallowing. The pathologist develops individualized treatment plans, provides evidence-based interventions, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal clinical and financial outcomes for patients in various settings, including schools and residential facilities.

What you'll do

• Provide therapy evaluation and develop individualized treatment plans
• Implement evidence-based interventions and provide patient/caregiver education
• Manage documentation, billing, and scheduling
• Supervise support staff including licensed assistants and aides
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team
• Coordinate with referring physicians
• Provide pediatric feeding interventions
• Evaluate and assess the need for AAC devices.
