The Senior Industrial Maintenance Technician (Regional Travel) role is onsite in Evanston, IN, with compensation of $42.65–$54.56 per hour. The role also analyzes complex systems, documents equipment performance, supports project teams, and helps develop lower-level technicians; extensive local and/or national travel is required.

What you'll do

• Perform expert break-fix and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and control systems
• diagnose root causes, repair or replace defective parts, test equipment, and recondition machine tools
• source parts and evaluate alternatives for cost or reliability
• work with customer counterparts to improve maintenance and preventive maintenance procedures
• may operate machining tools and may perform welding
• document work and equipment performance
• assist lower-level technicians and project teams
• troubleshoot complex control systems
• collect equipment data, identify trends, and recommend improvements
• conduct on-the-job training and follow safety requirements.
