Security Guard — Late Night

The Security Guard — Late Night role is onsite at high-end restaurants in Bethesda, Chevy Chase, and Washington, DC. Pay is $22–$25 per hour, and the schedule is seven days a week, with shifts ranging from 8:00 PM to 3:00 AM. K&T Security provides security services for clients and their patrons. The guard helps maintain a safe environment through access control, crowd management, patrols, and incident response. The role also includes customer service, incident documentation, and coordination with security colleagues and law enforcement when needed.

What you'll do

• Provide customer service to clients and patrons
• greet customers and check IDs
• monitor entry and departure and control access
• prevent unauthorized entry to restricted areas
• use detection devices to screen individuals
• respond to theft, vandalism, illegal entry, and emergencies
• conduct patrols and surveillance
• document incidents
• report hazards and accidents
• operate radios, CCTV, and alarm systems
• provide basic first aid until medical personnel arrive
• coordinate with security team members and law enforcement when necessary.

Why this role

An unarmed DC Guard License is specified in the posting; DC security experience and licensing are preferred. The role requires reliable transportation or metro access, a smartphone, and professional clothing and uniform. Previous late-night security experience is preferred.
