The Computed Tomography Technologist role is onsite at Henry Ford Rochester Hospital in Rochester, Michigan. The schedule is afternoons, 11:00 AM–11:00 PM, with every-other-weekend and holiday rotation. Compensation is not specified. What you'll do

• Perform total-body diagnostic CT scanning according to protocols
• assist physicians and provide computer guidance during invasive procedures
• prepare patients and verify identification and required preparation
• operate the CT scanner using the lowest dose needed for quality images
• prepare and administer contrast agents as directed
• monitor for adverse reactions
• maintain sterile technique, cleanliness, supplies, and equipment logs
• support scheduling and procedure flow
• participate in quality assurance and improvement
• follow radiation-safety standards.

Why this role
