The FPGA / Embedded Systems Engineer role is onsite in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The annual salary is $120,000–$125,000, based on experience and qualifications. The engineer joins a multidisciplinary engineering team working across FPGA hardware, digital design, embedded software, and system-level engineering. The role exists to design, integrate, test, and troubleshoot FPGA-based digital systems and embedded hardware/software solutions. It contributes throughout the product lifecycle, from requirements and architecture through prototype development, validation, and production, working with electrical, firmware, software, and systems engineers.

What you'll do

• Design, simulate, implement, and verify FPGA-based digital systems
• develop RTL using VHDL, Verilog, and/or SystemVerilog
• perform synthesis, implementation, timing analysis, and optimization
• develop and integrate embedded C/C++ software
• support hardware/software integration, system bring-up, debugging, and validation
• use FPGA development toolchains
• develop engineering scripts and automation
• translate requirements into hardware and firmware implementations
• troubleshoot system issues
• use laboratory test equipment
• support prototype development, verification, validation, and production transition
• maintain technical documentation and participate in design reviews.
