The Software Engineering Intern — Summer 2027 role is onsite in Elkhorn, WI, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 40 hours per week. Pay is $22 per hour. Reader Precision Solutions makes the internship part of its software engineering work supporting production and continuous improvement. The intern develops practical software and data tools using production information to support better business decisions. Working with engineering and operational teams, the intern contributes to dashboards, automation, full-stack projects, and an internship project presented to the Engineering team.

What you'll do

• Create KPI dashboards and tracking tools
• analyze production data
• develop scripts to automate data collection and analysis
• work with relational databases
• support full-stack projects using Python and React
• collaborate with Continuous Improvement and Production
• turn data into useful information
• participate in project development
• complete an internship project and present findings and recommendations.
