Mental Health Technician, Substance Use Treatment

The role provides direct care and supervision, supports daily living and individualized treatment plans, and monitors patient safety and status. It contributes to a therapeutic environment through accurate documentation, communication with clinical staff, assistance with tests and care tasks under supervision, and participation in team activities and required training.

What you'll do

• Assist with activities of daily living
• monitor, document, and report patient status and incidents
• support intake and safety procedures
• participate in treatment plans, therapeutic activities, and behavioral interventions
• conduct safety checks and rounds
• escort patients as needed
• perform urine analysis and other CLIA-waived tests when required
• assist with vital signs, specimen collection, and medication administration under supervision
• maintain confidential records and report safety concerns.
