The Cook role is onsite in Clinton, MD. Compensation is $18–$19.50 per hour. The cook is part of FutureCare’s nutrition department, which supports residents’ care, nutrition, health, and well-being. The role prepares appealing meals and therapeutic diets while following menus, recipes, sanitation practices, and meal schedules. It also helps coordinate food-service work, reduce waste, and guide dietary aides and porters.

What you'll do

• Prepare food safely and attractively
• follow menus and recipes
• prepare therapeutic and modified diets and make menu substitutions when needed
• monitor food and supply levels
• avoid waste
• meet meal schedules
• work with food-service staff and other departments
• provide supervision and guidance to dietary aides, porters, and new employees.
