Project Estimator — Life Science Logistics & Relocation

Job overview

The Project Estimator role is onsite in Beverly, MA, with compensation of $70,000–$85,000 per year. The position supports Tobin Scientific’s Sales and Operations teams, serving life sciences and biopharma clients with storage, transport, and relocation services. The estimator assesses customer sites and translates project requirements into accurate scopes and estimates, helping Sales prepare proposals and enabling Operations to execute awarded projects safely and effectively.

What you'll do

• Conduct customer-site walkthroughs
• measure spaces and inventory assets
• assess access, restrictions, and handling needs
• identify risks and scope gaps
• estimate labor, materials, transportation, equipment, storage, crating, and subcontractors
• support proposals and statements of work
• communicate assumptions and risks
• hand off project scopes to Operations
• maintain CRM records.
