What you'll do

• Review provider documentation and assign CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, and modifier codes
• submit claims
• correct rejected claims
• work denials, appeals, underpayments, and aged accounts receivable
• review payment records
• verify referrals and authorizations
• communicate with payers, providers, staff, and patients
• maintain compliant documentation and patient confidentiality.
