Lead Veterinary Technician

The Lead Veterinary Technician works onsite in Conroe, TX, on a Friday–Sunday schedule from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Compensation is $25–$30 per hour. HUB Veterinary Group’s Conroe hospital aims to provide accessible, affordable veterinary care to the community and pets in need. This hands-on lead supports efficient patient flow and compassionate care while performing technician duties and coordinating the technician team. The role also supports procedures, patient treatment, team training, and adherence to hospital protocols in a high-volume practice.

What you'll do

• Work hands-on as a veterinary technician while leading the technician team
• coordinate and delegate work
• support appointments, treatments, surgery, anesthesia, procedures, and patient care
• place IV catheters, draw blood, and administer medications
• monitor anesthesia and surgical patients
• maintain treatment and surgical areas
• train and mentor technicians and assistants
• communicate with veterinarians and hospital staff.
