Substance Use Disorder Counselor

The Substance Use Disorder Counselor role is onsite in Eau Claire, WI, with compensation starting at $22.75 per hour for SAC-IT, $26.00 for SAC, or $28.00 for CSAC. The role is based at Fahrman Center, a 42-bed residential treatment facility serving men and women. The counselor provides treatment and recovery support through individual and group counseling, case management, and individualized treatment planning. The work contributes to clients’ recovery by coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team and community providers.

What you'll do

• Provide individual and group substance use counseling and case management
• complete screenings, assessments, referrals, and documentation
• develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
• coordinate care with community providers and multidisciplinary team members
• educate and support clients and families
• facilitate recovery-focused groups and therapeutic services
• attend supervision, staff meetings, and required training.
