Job overview

The Cook role is onsite in Richmond, VA, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Pay is $17–$18 per hour. The position supports daily meals and special events in Meriwether Godsey’s retail dining operation. The Cook prepares and presents food for service while following recipes, food-safety practices, and sanitation standards. The work helps maintain meal quality, timely service, and efficient production.

What you'll do

• Prepare, cook, portion, and present food for daily meals and special events
• prepare batches close to serving time
• follow recipes and suggest improvements
• maintain required food temperatures and record them
• follow food-handling and sanitation standards
• track production quantities, attendance, and leftovers
• organize and label storage
• attend production meetings
• complete other assigned duties.
