FOIA Analyst (OIA)

What you'll do

• Review FOIA/PA records for simple, complex, and fast-track requests
• respond to referral and consultation requests from other federal agencies
• apply applicable FOIA exemptions and redact non-releasable records
• interpret and communicate federal laws and regulations related to document review and disposition
• prepare final release determinations
• communicate with employees, management, and federal agencies
• process submitter notices and objections
• maintain detailed case notes and support administrative functions including scanning and uploading files.
